3/21/22 E-Board & Advisor Email:

We have released TWO new features today! These new features will require all users to update their Mobile App; when prompted please update your Mobile App and remind your Members to do the same.

The first feature is the ability to create, edit, or delete events from the mobile app. The second feature is the ability to have Members RSVP to an event, eliminating the need for a separate sign up sheet.

Please read through this email for the details on these exciting new features! If you need more information, you can always chat-in with us and check out our knowledge base articles under Support that cover in depth details for all features.

Feature 1: Creating Events on the Mobile App

Leaders have requested the ability to create events from the Mobile App and it is finally here!

Click here for a full tutorial on how to create an event on the Mobile App.

Any Leader/Advisor who has the ability to create events from the website will now be able to create events from the Mobile App.

To create an event from the Mobile App:

  • Navigate to the upcoming events calendar

  • You will now see a “+” sign in the upper right corner above the calendar

  • Click the “+” sign to open the ‘New Event’ details screen

  • Fill in all of the details for your event

    • Anything with a * is required to be entered before the event can be created

  • For invite events, there is a second screen you will need to fill out

    • Once you fill in the event details on the first screen and click “Create Event” the second screen will open for who to invite to the event

      • You can click on individual names/groups or type the name/group to select

    • Once you click “Done” in the upper right corner your event will be added to the calendar!

To edit an event from the Mobile App:

  • Click on the Event from the calendar

  • Click the pencil icon in the upper right corner of the event details screen

  • This will open the event and allow you to make any necessary changes, including canceling (deleting) the event (if you are an admin).

    • If you need to make a change to the event type (mandatory, bonus etc.) you have to create a new event and delete the existing event.

      • If this is an event with data already processed (such as excuses) you should download that information from the website before deleting the event.

    • To edit the invite list you will need to click on “Sent To” and then update the list from the second screen.

Feature 2: Event RSVP

The event RSVP feature allows leaders to create events and designate the number of attendees for the event without needing to use a separate sign-up sheet. This feature can be helpful for a number of different scenarios such as philanthropy events, ticketed events, and Panhellenic events.

Click here for a full tutorial with best practices for utilizing Event RSVP.

When creating an event you will need to turn RSVP on in the event details:

On the Mobile App you will go into Optional Settings

Once you have clicked RSVP, you will need to set the Total Participants for the event and the deadline to RSVP. The deadline cannot be any later than the date of the event.

Members have the following options when answering an RSVP:

  • Yes

  • No

  • Waitlist (if the number of participants have been met)

Points & Fines Queue will be calculated based on the type of event and the RSVP response of each Member:
