Auditing your Member Groups keeps your roster accurate and ensures your chapter is ready for the upcoming semester. Updating groups also guarantees that your MCR invoice only reflects current Active Lifetime and New Members.

How It Works
View Groups
Go to Connect > Groups.
Double-click on a group name to view its Members.
Adjust as necessary.
As an admin, you are able to remove Closed Groups that are not longer accurate.
Check Auto-Generated Groups for accuracy
Groups like New Members and Seniors are created automatically from profile information.
Have you moved your New Members to Lifetime Members once they are initiated.
Have you graduated Seniors and moved them to Alumnae/i status.
- Audit Admin Groups as all members can see admin groups
Go to Connect > Groups.
Double-click on the group to review.
Click the pencil icon in the top-right corner.
Edit the group details and click Update.
Update Member Status accordingly
Navigate to My Access > Manage Users
Change the Member’s status as needed. (Administrator access required.)
This column can be sorted by click on the 2 triangles at the top in the header

Q: How often should we audit Member Groups?
A: At minimum, audit before each semester and after initiation or graduation events.
Q: Who can change a Member’s status?
A: Only administrators with access to Manage Users can update statuses.
Q: Why is moving graduated Members to Alumnae status important?
A: It keeps your MCR invoice accurate and ensures only Active Lifetime Members are counted.
Q: Can we create and edit custom groups?
A: Yes. Admin-created groups can be added or updated anytime under Connect > Groups.
Q: Are changes applied immediately?
A: Yes, once saved, updates take effect across the platform right away.
