House Directors are Important References with access to limited features within MCR while keeping them informed of chapter activity.
To add a House Director, you will need to first add them as an Important Reference following the usual steps which can be found here. VP-Facility Operations is copied on this message, and will need to coordinate with an admin leader to add the House Director.
Once you have added them as an Important Reference you will need to immediately change their Membership Status to “House Director” so that the appropriate permissions are given. Note: If this step is not done, your new house director will have admin access.
The House Director Membership Classification will give the following permissions within MCR:
**If you have a House Director who is also serving your chapter in another capacity, such as an advisor, or who you prefer to have the same permissions as all Important References, you can keep their status as an Important Reference with an assigned advisor role under Chapter Info.
