This might be happening because colleges/universities change their firewall and spam policies every semester/year.  When these new policies are put into place, it will sometimes block our IP address from you receiving emails.  This is primarily because the firewall will see a large amount of emails being sent to your school email addresses from a site that is unrecognized.

There is an easy fix!!

It is as simple as sending an email like the one below to your IT department. We suggest that the president sends this email. Please make sure to change the xxx to fit your organization and to follow up a few days later as they are typically busy during the summer. If you have any questions, please let us know.

To whom it may concern,

Please be advised that our organization, xxx, uses a communication portal called MyChapterRoom (MCR) to communicate with our members. Many times we are sending mass communication through this portal and in turn sends emails to our university email addresses. In order for our emails to go through, please whitelist the following IP addresses:

184.154.2.50
184.154.2.51

If you can let me know when this is complete, I would greatly appreciate it.

If you have any questions, please contact me.

Thank you,
