The chart below shows you which features are available to different access levels and which features can be given to specific Members to assist with attendance management including processing excuses.
Scanning Members into an Event
- Both E-Board and Administrators have the ability to scan Members into events, and additional Members can be given the ability to assist with scanning attendance.
- Members will need to use the MCR mobile app and pull up the correct event and the corresponding QR code in order to be scanned into the event.
- Selecting an event on the dashboard or the QR code at the top right of the mobile app will bring you to the event to check in for. Note: Any Member with attendance scanning access will see a choice to either "Check In" or "Scan" when they click on an event.
- Select "Scan attendees" to open scanner and begin scanning Members into event for attendance.
You cannot scan yourself in, and must have another Member with scanning access scan you into an event.
Your Members will need to select "Check In" to bring up their QR code.
Note: It is sometimes helpful to screenshot your QR code to limit the "traffic" on the WiFi network from MCR when many Members have the app open.
In the event that a Member brings up the wrong QR code to be scanned into an event, the mobile app will alert you.
Once a Member brings up the correct QR code, they can be scanned in to event.
