This feature is meant to make your job as a leader easier, so it is important to resist the urge to submit all achievements on behalf of Members. Instead, use this feature to submit achievements where it is easier for the leader to verify the achievement and then submit on behalf of the Member, rather than sorting through submissions that could be incorrect.

Two examples to help illustrate how this can be effectively used:

  1. You give Members bonus points for paying their dues in full by the first due date

  2. Members must complete an e-module training course on Title IX and you are offering bonus points for those that complete the course by a specific date

In both of these examples, the E-Board Member responsible for each program (such as your VP Finance and your VP Membership Development) will have a list of those Members who have completed the requirement through your finance program and the e-module. Using this list, your E-Board Member will log into MyChapterRoom from a computer and navigate to:

Engage → Event Admin → All Achievements → Specific Achievement

Clicking on the specific Achievement will bring up the “Add Member Achievements” button.

Once you click on the “Add Member Achievements” button, you will see a pop up screen that allows you to type Member names into the search bar. Clicking “View Roster” will allow you to check off individual Members in a group, or select the entire group. (You can use the same achievement for New Members and Lifetime Members even if they have different due dates, just be sure to select the right Membership group.)

When you are viewing the Roster any Member who has already reached the maximum submissions will be greyed out and you will not be able to select them. Once you have submitted the Members, their achievement will be automatically approved and you will be able to see who submitted their achievement.

A few important notes:

  • Admin & Event Admin can submit Member Achievements for any achievement

  • E-Board Members can submit Member Achievements for any achievement that they create

    • If an E-Board Member needs to add Member achievements for an achievement they did not create, they can give the list to an Administrator to submit. Alternately, E-Board Members who need access can be given Event Admin access which will allow them to submit on behalf of a Member for any achievement.

  • If you delete an achievement you will lose all historical data associated with the achievement
