Emergency text messages can be sent from MCR to chapter members' cellular phones as reminders or alerts. This tool is extremely beneficial if there has been a last minute change to an event or if you need to alert your members in an emergency situation.  


Emergency text messages can be sent via both the website and the mobile app.  


Emergency text messages will only be sent to those members who have activated their cell phones in their profiles.  You can check who has or has not activated their cell phones by going to My Access > Admin > Emergency Test Messages.  You will see a list of those who have activated and below that a list of those who have not.
